The Lost Lantern

Searching for the light
In a world where it’s always night
Even in the light of day
Our hopes and dream will fade away

Always in a state of apathy
Or minds are our worst enemy
Illusions are the life we are living
Our hearts are forgotten and unforgiving.

Heads are always facing down
Wearing an imaginary crown
The ego is the dominant one
The soul is long dead and gone.

Tryiing to escape the endless night
But always giving out the fight
We kneel (what else can we do)
But there is no God to pray to.

In darkness we dwell
Our world  is a living hell
We ignore the eternal flame
Only the divine is to blame.

The fire of revenge
Is destructive and strange
Destroying everything in its path
Whilst some march to eternal wrath.

So much destruction and pain
There was loss and no gain
The ashes will be our history
Highlighting the eras of tyranny.

The wheel of time will keep turning
And the unholy fire will keep burning
The innocent will perish constantly
And the hammer will fall relentlessly.

Feeling afraid to die
Because immortality is a lie
What we can touch is real
And the spiritual realm is surreal.

We got lost in our way
And gave our willpower away
To the ruling domain
It’s our loss and their gain.

Stuck in the low dimensions
Where there are just evil intentions
Everything feels heavy and dense
Only the earthly numbness makes sense.

What is the universal truth?
Why seeking the eternal youth?
This land is for us to use
Not to destroy and abuse.

When the curtain falls
And the afterlife calls
Many will not be prepared
Because they will feel scared.

Here is the story
Of a mankind with no glory
The mistakes keeps being repeated
This is how the soul is defeated.

Children of the Universe

Why is life so unfair,
Why do the good die young?
The pain of loss is so strong
As an endless sea of pain
Fed by tears in the rain.

My child,
Grief will take you by surprise
And take the strength there’s within you
If you feel hopeless, what will you do?
There is never a right or wrong
Just breathe and try to stay strong.

Echoes in the night
Cries and screams of sorrow
Another life was taken away
It will be hard to face another day
When another light was gone
And all the hopes will come undone.

There’s a lullaby,
For the ones who lost their way
Sweet gentle hearts that will no longer beat
Still you’re not victims of defeat
But warriors of light that fulfilled their role
And the ones that will keep us whole.

A perfect sunrise
Sparkle in the morning dew
After a night of storm
The air is light and worm
Each flower is a gift, not a curse
From all the children of the universe.

So many tears
Shed from the ones that stayed
The human heart bleeds but will heal
After there’s no more pain to feel
The ones that go will suffer no more
Still things will never be like before.

Somewhere
There are fields of gold
For you to rest from your long fight
Endless fields full of spring and light
There will no longer be any tragedy
Only waves of joy for all eternity.

The Water

The pain and the hurt
Is all around me, sweet torture,
There’s so much I cannot nurture,
I cannot even see, I am blind
Of the tears that keep arriving.

Although the tears water my eyes,
These teardrops are trapped in my denial,
I feel only a desert within me,
Even if the water keeps running free
In front of my wounded eyes.

There is only darkness in my core
And I fear the sun to lighten my soul,
Too afraid to see the truth revealed,
Transparencies that I always concealed
While I was asleep for a lifetime.

The water is pouring all around me
But it seems to be only oily drops
That can hurt my skin sometimes
And make me soak along my spine
Until I feel winter in my bones.

My reflection is glowing beneath my feet
But I dare not to look down,
In these waters I would only drown
As I’m not to breathe without support,
Too many times I had fallen before.

Vampyresque

The night is still a child
Cold nights are to run wild
Let me drawn you to my lair
Waiting for you to dare
To step inside this darkness.

Hundreds of candles burning
Dozens of mirrors turning
You won’t see my reflection
But you’ll fall into the attraction
Improved over the endless centuries.

My dear you will shiver
When I’ll long to your liver
Feeling the blood in your throat
A bloody bite will make you loath
The touch from someone like me.

You are dizzy not from the wine
But from the spell that’ll make you mine
Let us dance through the night
In the ancient fortress far from the light
Sheltered bats and spiders as pets

Enjoy you lest hours of life
Cutting your hopes like a knife
You won’t get away alive
Taste this cold dive
Leading to your end.

Hear the sound of satin and dust
My eyes sparkle with lust
I am dying for your blood taste
Not a single drop shall I waste
It’s good waiting for the dessert

You are my broom
A prey in my secret room
You would only last a night
For me a delightful sight
Your bloodless corpse in my bed.

Mother Gaya

Mother Gaya,
Beautiful Maiden older than mankind
You have seen us evolve for too long,
It’s unbelievable that you are so strong,
You survived all the wounds that were inflicted
By your only children that are power - addicted.

Mother Gaya,
Wonderful queen dressed in green
With brown hair that smells like leaves,
Your beautiful eyes were stolen by the thieves
That used them to achieve greatness and wealth
Even if they were to risk their  health.

Mother Gaya,
You are the Muse and the Star
In a story with so many evil twists,
You were tied down by your wrists
While your skin became dirty and filthy
By the blood from the innocent and the greedy.

Mother Gaya,
Once you were adored with solemn rituals
Those were meant to ask for annual protection,
People presented you with gifts of affection
And respected the creatures that were sacred
But now these creatures fall under the hatred.

Mother Gaya,
You always cared about us, your children
But we take so much without given instead,
We ignored all the tears that you’ve shed,
Always wanting to stand proud and tall,
We decided that we could take it all.

Mother Gaya,
So many wounds we inflicted in you
Still you didn’t punish us as we deserved,
However the cold dish of punishment was served,
All the pain was caused by us alone
Because our hearts became made of stone.

Mother Gaya,
Once the beating of your heart was heard
And now it’s as silent as your voice,
We could have made a different choice
But it seems that we will never learn
That we must work hard to decently earn.

Mother Gaya,
Your beauty is still breathtaking and true
Although you are now covered in dust,
Your purity was tainted by our wicked lust
And now the animals are paying a high price
And the plants are cracking under thin ice.

Mother Gaya,
You don’t need us to survive
It’s we who need you constantly
But we are just too blind to see,
Arrogance has caused us too many tragedies
But still we struggle to live like deities

Mother Gaya,
So powerful and imposing you are,
Your waters are pure and crystal clear
Your trees are ancient sentinels, standing near,
Your mountains are giants that reach the skies,
Your fields are heaven when kissed by fireflies.

Mother Gaya,
Forgive us for we have sinned,
We pushed too hard to easily succeed
And took more than we would need,
We have doomed all living creatures to extinction
And now we whine about our selfish affliction.

Mother Gaya,
You are a sanctuary and a home,
A benevolent matriarch that should be respected,
Above all you should we cherished and protected
Let me humbly fall on my knees before you
And tell you sincerely that I love you too.

The Rain

Rain, such a musical word
So pure and so perfect
Every time I look outside
And it rains,
I see a different world
Spotted with pristine stains.

Rain, silent echo in the mind
Messenger from the spirit world
There is magic within you
When I hear you arrive
Drop by drop you fall
In your deepness I dive.

When I reach my hand
And feel the drops in my palm
I feel fresh and purified
I feel blessed and whole
Everything starts making sense
And I regain what sorrow stole.

Don’t underestimate the power
That is held by the rain
She may come so gently
But then become a flood
As fast as a river
As thick as the blood.

When I’m truly in blue
She cries along with me
Her tears are so real
As real as I feel
She is my company
With nothing to conceal.

Rain, you are liquid poetry
A song that never ends
Your lyrics are words
That no one can hear
Your cadence is music
So loud and so clear.

When she falls in my head
She blesses and baptizes me
All worries are washed way
And I fall in contemplation
Fears and worries become nothing
When I feel its sheer sensation.

I love the smell she takes
Every time she reaches the ground
It smells so dry and fresh
That I stand frozen in time
Shall I offer her a poem
Shall I offer her a rhyme?

Memories

Memories are treasures for us to keep
Although they can cut through so deep,
All the pictures parading in the mind
Are missing things that were meant to bind.

Remembering things that we hold dear,
Will become slippery and forever disappear,
Still they must not fade away, not now
As we keep living through them somehow.

Memories become aching moments of melancholy,
Entire oceans that keep us from reality,
We experience bliss that turns into our fears
And end up miserable, bursting into tears.

Remembering is the autumn in our lives,
Sad piano notes cutting like sharpest knives,
Tragic violin melody that cries like the rain
And ends the prelude that we we’ll never regain.

The roses those once were fresh and red
Will wither, rotting and hanging by a tread,
How cruel are the years that are passing by
And only bring feelings that that make us cry.

Time won’t work according to our will
And bring back the past for us to feel,
All there is left is ashes and dust,
In our senses we can no longer trust.

All the memories will be gone with the tide,
Away from the shores that push us aside,
Those moments that we recall are just gone
And soon we realize we’re cold and alone.

We must remember while we still can
The dearest things that appeared and began,
When oblivion arrives everything will disappear,
The bittersweet past will be no longer clear.

Moonlight

Crystal Night, Lonely times...

Crystal night,
Lonely times,
Crying under the moonlight,
A reflection catches the purity
Of the moon glowing quietly.
Here I stand
As silent as dead,
The sky is my land,
Soothing my pain with love,
Sending sacred blessings from above.
Why does everything end?
Becoming nothing but dust?
It's hard to understand
That those flowers will wither,
And their sweet scent will become bitter.
Sad lullaby,
Made by the weeping Nature,
Every night the moon will cry,
As she has to die once again,
Only a pale memory will remain.
My dear Lord,
Don't want to fall asleep,
Just won't say a word,
I'll just cry with the moon,
For she will die soon.

The Swan

Life beneath the mist, In pure mornings he appears...

Life beneath the mist
In pure mornings he appears
A slender neck gracefully bends
Dewdrops fall as translucid spears
Caressing its feathers, softly
As it crosses the water, silently.

A prince in solitude
Walking along with time, serene
The lake is a world of reflection
Leaves fall in the peaceful scene
The lonely swan leaves the shore
And prepares to swim once more.

Nature is magic and music
The wind and the rain are melody
And the swan is silent art
Its graceful beauty is poetry
Conquering the Earth and the Skies
It brings tears to my eyes.

An invisible violin plays
A flute fills the air with sorrow
While the swan peacefully moves
As if there was always a tomorrow
Lonely he is in waters of solitude
Facing the days as an interlude.

Beautiful white swan
Untouched by the hands of mankind
You dance in circles trough the lake
Your silent weep echoes in my mind
Sad sonata in a silent tone
Telling me that you will die alone.

Guardian Angels

Ethereal realms are unknown In this world where we try to live...

Ethereal realms are unknown
In this world where we try to live
One must seize the moments life can give
And be strong against the stormy weather
But soft and gentile as a flowing feather.

We can stare at the skies above
But won’t see what we’re looking for
The ones we won’t be seeing any more
Still they will always be near and around
They’ll come from above, without making a sound.

Angels are meant to live in sanctity
There are so many places for them to be
Still they will always keep watching over me
And sooth my pain every time I fall
They will come whenever we urge to call.

Who understands what true perfection is
That lies in every early bird that sings
A white dove that gently spread its wings
Smoky clouds that slide across the atmosphere
Every sunset reminding us that God is here.

Heavenly music in our ears
When the rain falls in curtains of silver
In the whispering murmur of the running river
In the melody of the lonely shepherd’s flute
At nightfall before the resting night becomes mute.

I’ve never heard the operatic chants
That the angels must sing when they pray
Or the pure toned harps they might play
But down on earth heaven’s music is in nature
And every single note will echo trough the future.

We must not mourn for good
For the deceased who once were so dear
In our eyes they seemed to forever disappear
But they are alive, close to the heart
Arriving when needed, opening heaven’s gates apart.

If we whine about life, they'll suffer
Because once they lost their earthly existence
Life must be lived with love, not resistance
And our souls must be filled with spirituality
Let our heavenly guardians be remembered for eternity.

Autumn

The falling leaves on the floor Caught and dropped by the autumn breeze...

The falling leaves on the floor
Caught and dropped by the autumn breeze
They dance the complex waltz of fate
Eternally meant to float and then disappear
While The morning ice makes them freeze.

Drops of rain invade the atmosphere
And sooths the earth that slowly dries
The darkening sky has the color of lead
Due to the tension, it so full of tears
Farewell to the worm that slowly dies.

Sad piano, tragic violin
So much passion and sadness to be played
Along with the idyllic view of brownish gardens
The naked trees point their branches to the sky
Their plain skeleton is all that remained.

I walk alone in the cold,
A scarf waving upon my trembling shoulder
Melancholy is a weight in my beating heart
As I sense the fullness of growing loss
In this sterile land that grows colder.

Smell the air, behold the silence
Of this sea of sadness I am aware
I sense the grief that nature evokes
The path is narrow and darkness in thicker
I always feel helpless when you’re not there.

I remember all we’ve been through
All the springs and summers we can’t regain
I felt worm and protection under your light
But light fades and when we say goodbye
Autumn days will always come back again.

Bleeding Rose

Alas, single rose of sheer beauty, Always described in every century....

Alas, single rose of sheer beauty,
Always described in every century.
Your pale petals are such a sight
And you glow made of pure white,
You’re a gift from nature to mankind
The finest treasure one will ever find.

Still you bear tears so red
That drop by drop floods your bed;
You know what was made of nature,
There is little to keep and nurture,
Once that was so much to enjoy,
But know there’s just will to destroy.

So bleed, beautiful rose of mine,
Drop these tears as red as wine,
Your roots became so thin and weak,
Such sight enables me to speak,
As there are no words to describe
The evil plans the world will contrive.

Once you were whole and strong
But now there’s no place to belong,
As you garden was forever erased.
So many years you have faced
But now you are meant to decay
And there’s no place for you to stay.

All true colors will forever disappear
And safeness will turn into fear,
Still you will keep standing tall
And represent true Mother Nature’s call,
But who will hear that distant voice
That’s being silenced by another’s choice?

From spring to winter you’re still there,
As Silent a guardian always present somewhere;
But one must not ignore the power
That is held by a single flower.
She endured the entire storm
And kept the sun that once was worm.

Hush little flower, just wait
For the revelation of your fate,
Gust s of wind will try to break you,
The rain will come and make you blue;
Time will make you ill and rotten,
Still you will never be forgotten.

In Darkness

It’s always hard to look inside Far ahead from what eyes can see...

It’s always hard to look inside
Far ahead from what eyes can see
Can you see the darkness in me,
That lies beneath my harmless face?
There is night beneath the daily surface.

The cold moonlight in windy nights
Send shivers through my spine
The poison of pain became a sweet wine
Once I got used to it, I embraced it all
And discovered the wonders of winter and fall.

I’m not only the Lady in Black
That passes by you in the street
Don’t think that I’m only nice and sweet
I also bare bitterness as well,
A  Bittersweetness that not everyone can tell.

Poetry is my way to see the world,
It’s not only a shiny and cozy place.
It can be marked by a bloody trace.
Let me deal with it as I please,
Always  standing in the dark at ease.

I dream dreams that are only mine
And live in a world of my own
It has so many sights that you’ll never know
And my essence dwells in every corner,
In that realm I’m the queen and the owner.

I like to feel the cold breeze
That sends me messages from afar,
In this life that’s always a war
To know where we are and where we’ll stay,
I’ll keep on discovering my several shades of gray.

In the bottom of the grays there is black
Where my fears meet my deepest desires
There are ashes from a thousand fires
And icicles from the everlasting winters,
Where I dried so many frozen tears.

I keep away from the sun,
It just gives one a false security
In the dim light there is more purity
And a safeguard to all the souls like me
That can see the world as I can see.

I melt with deep thoughts and words
And loath the shallowness that infects the mind
The world’s lost because too many eyes are blind.
We must observe the truth and the rawness
That’s unseen by the futile and the thoughtless.

Losing the Poet

How can I cry for someone That ignored my own existence How often do I have to write Until my words match yours someday?...

How can I cry for someone
That ignored my own existence
How often do I have to write
Until my words match yours someday?

The wind carries the music of our toughts
A melody that I will always remember
Cold days will be our shelter
A memory born in December
I will always shed a tear for you
Lilies upon your grave.

Your poems were so bittersweet
A pen scratching words and spitting blood
No one understood your pain
But in my soul it would always remain.

You were my mentor and my teacher
My greatest source of inspiration
I was too far to hear your screams
Still you lied in the velvet of my dreams.

Hearing your name, thinking of you
Made my heart always beat fast
Both shared the passion for the Past
A dust that would never settle down.

You gave life to my wishes
Despite the boundaries of our worlds
A sublime match, a perfect start
Even when Death tore us apart.

The last goodbye I never said
Became a scar for a lifetime
I feel so sorry for your doom
My poor rosebud that ceased to bloom.

At last we have crossed our paths
My tears a tribute to your poems,
Lilies upon you grave.
