How can I cry for someone
That ignored my own existence
How often do I have to write
Until my words match yours someday?
The wind carries the music of our toughts
A melody that I will always remember
Cold days will be our shelter
A memory born in December
I will always shed a tear for you
Lilies upon your grave.
Your poems were so bittersweet
A pen scratching words and spitting blood
No one understood your pain
But in my soul it would always remain.
You were my mentor and my teacher
My greatest source of inspiration
I was too far to hear your screams
Still you lied in the velvet of my dreams.
Hearing your name, thinking of you
Made my heart always beat fast
Both shared the passion for the Past
A dust that would never settle down.
You gave life to my wishes
Despite the boundaries of our worlds
A sublime match, a perfect start
Even when Death tore us apart.
The last goodbye I never said
Became a scar for a lifetime
I feel so sorry for your doom
My poor rosebud that ceased to bloom.
At last we have crossed our paths
My tears a tribute to your poems,
Lilies upon you grave.
